When I was a little girl I wondered what I really liked: dancing? Basketball? Board games? Summer camp? Discovering other countries and cultures? Chatting with friends in the park? When I became a teenager I soon found out: people, something all these activities have in common. My real passion was and remains contact with people, devoting time to each other, supporting each other, exchanging ideas and the countless things human relations have to offer. Over time I’ve developed to discover that respect and above all knowing how to listen are two qualities I really appreciate in a relationship and at the same time I try to show them myself. This means that in every aspect of my life, I respect and I listen. I respect my peers and our precious planet Earth. I love peace, harmony and the feeling of plenitude that I get from the mountains and, even more so, the sea. Every day I learn a little more about how to recycle this or that so that I can carry on using it. Likewise, every day I try to take care of my personal relations by offering closeness, friendship and honesty. I listen carefully to people’s needs and their moods. I greet the baker with a “Good morning,” giving him the chance to look up from his counter, see his smile and build an invisible bridge to bring us closer and give both of us the satisfaction of feeling more human. As the Cypriot philosopher Zeno of Citium wrote, “We have two ears and one mouth, so we should listen more than we say.” In the ICT FILTRATION Customer Care Department I feel I can go on growing in both these areas. Contact with customers gives me life, energy and knowledge. I remember looking for companies to which to send my CV and when I saw information about ICT FILTRATION and its commitment to people and the environment, I thought… this is the place for me.
