ICT FILTRACIÓN researches high-technology new materials and raw materials to supply the market with more eco-efficient filter bags and fabrics.
It also devotes considerable resources to innovating in its processes, technologies and techniques for construction, manufacturing and finishing, to boost performance and prolong the life cycle of its products, reduce the risk of leaks, cut production costs and come up with more competitive products.
A large part of the range of machinery installed at the ICT FILTRACIÓN factory was designed in-house. One example of this is the intermediate ring machine, designed and built to automate the adjustment of fabrics which need metal rings to fit into the filter. A whole range of manual cutting and sewing machines are used to make the filters (arm, overlock, flat, etc.). The process is completed by innovative systems to optimise and automate cutting, improving the sealing of the bags in order to prolong the life of the filter and avoid any losses of contents in use and perfecting the finishing of products to achieve a perfect fit onto the component to which they are attached. Laser and Randix systems are used for cutting, ultrasound and thermowelding systems for sealing the bags and intermediate rings for proper assembly.
The manual machinery for craft processes is used to finish off the pieces manufactured and to add ties, openings and other requirements to allow proper fitting of the bag into the filter.
